We have a Hispanic Family Center off Yonkers Road near Capital where we hold computer skills classes, GED classes, and English classes and we need someone to volunteer their time for a good cause.

We have about 10 computers there that we need help maintaining. You could be adding RAM, configuring Windows to run fast and get on the internet, swapping out parts here and there to get running machines, setting up brand new machines when they arrive etc. Time commitment would be pretty low, whenever you could stop by. More time upfront, but less after the setup is complete.

If you have excellent computer skills and want to help out the community send me a pm. Resumes aren't required but would help me understand your background. Feel free to PM or post any questions.

Oh and if you speak Spanish and want to lead a computer skills class let me know too

early evenings might work, some weekend hous might even be possible. obviously this is a volunteer position so nobody is setting your schedule, you'll mostly set your own. As I said, it will invilve a long day or two at the beginning, then the occasional (weekly+?) drop by after that to prune everything
