I am a salt water fisher and never make it to the lakes in teh area. I am heading up to Kerr this weekend....anybody point me in the right direction for the best bait to use?

Kerr Lake is my favorite place ever to go and camp, I was up there last weekend...I dont fish but my dad does and it all depends on what you are trying to catch...

i dont know much about fishing but why would you go to kerr lake when theres jordan and falls right in the area. arent they all basically the same manmade lakes?

If you are fishin for bass start out in the morning with top water bait. Use a pop-r or a trick worm, as it heats up red colors worms do best at kerr. cherry seed is the best imo.p.s. if it is clouldy try a spinner bait.
