We're looking to rent a town house on kaplan, does anyone know how the parking is in this area, since there are no visitor spots? Or likes/dislikes about them?!?

i lived in Falcon Ridge a few years back and parking sucked when we had guests over. We just had them park on kaplan but most of the time they had to park far away.

if you can get one near kaplan like mine parking isn't a problem. i wouldn't want to live in one that was set farther back.

and to add, brentwood towing were like predators, they would wait for your ass to mispark.

One time I came home and a friend of my roommates was in my spot. I didn't mind because I just had to stop by and pick up something then head back out. So I pulled in behind their cars, ran inside got something from my room, ran back outside and the tow truck was pulling up behind my car.. no shit. I was inside for about 20 seconds max.

yeah i live in the hunter's creek townhouses near the kent/kaplan intersection. there are usually plenty of open guest spaces and 2 reserved spaces for each townhouse. I think there are a couple of them for rent/sale right around me.

Parking definitely sucks when it comes to guests. I'm in Falcon Ridge on the Gorman side, and we have a few more options, like parking in University Commons. My favorite is to kick someone out of my spot, only to have another person park before I can move my car into it. Look forward to calling the tow truck/fussing with neighbors pretty frequently.

depends on how much power you use
its no more expensive than some of the shitty apts. in the area

if you conserve energy like i do / you will not have anything to worry about

IMHO there are a ton of better places to live

we have a ~1250sq ft. 2 bedroom 2.5 bath townhouse at hunter's creek. Power bill is usually like $70-75/month and water is like $45-50 every 2 months.
