I dont know if the class is even offered with another professor next year. After his first class at state, he managed to get a bunch of "Worst Professor EVER" comments on his student feedback reports.

His class lacked any sort of cohesive structure.
Assignments were made up at the end of class almost as if on a whim.
The class average for the final exam was in the 40s, and the final average for the semester project was in the 50s (to be fair Im not sure whether its out of 100 or not, but all I know is I had an 85% average before figuring in the semester project and final exam and my final course grade was a C).
The lab sessions were done haphazard, also lacking structure and did not relate with the main course at all. He was almost always unprepard.
His grades were inconsistent from person to person.
He incorporated information from courses that were not prerequisites to the course.
The TA did everything.

I've never met a dept head about a professor before, and Im now planning on seeing him to complain today. Three of my classmates have already done this, two more are planning to do it in the near future (that I know of). Simply put, avoid this professor like the PLAGUE.

I would add my schedule to school tool, but its not working for some reason.

I just added a class, so it should be working. I agree that the class was very disorganized. I had no idea where my final grade would come out, but I cannot complain about the end result. Unfortunately, I can't say I learned a lot. This course was an engineering elective for me, and I would suggest engineering economics instead.

While I know the bulk of comments about this class will be negative, Dr. Hsiang was at least a nice guy, and pretty funny at times. The best was suggesting that rappers are predisposed toward carpal tunnnel syndrome because they are "always yo-yo-yoing in zis fashion" (complete with gestures). Haha. Not a fun class to deal with as a senior, though.
