Long story short, I have 5000 Japanese Yen (paper money) - which is worth about $42 USD.the fee my bank charges to change currency is outrageous, and not worth exchanging it.If someone's willing to give me better than the bank will for it, I'd like to swap.Otherwise, I'm keeping it (hell I'll frame it and put it on my wall, it's kinda cute)Asking at least $35.[Edited on May 10, 2006 at 1:35 PM. I have a couple shekels and a punt to trade

No, that's all i've got. It's a couple extra bucks in your pocket if you're going. Think of it as partially making up for the fee they charge for currency exchange (as I dont believe it varies no matter how much you change over)

yeah, they do charge a fee but nothing like a local bank or shady currency exchange places. By the way, whoever is going to travel there better buy this yen. Don't use your credit cards cause banks are now charging like a 7% surcharge for purchases in foreign currency. Check you bank agreement. (can't remember the exact %).
