Anyone know of any good ones near the Greensboro/Oak Ridge area? I'm home for a few days and really wanna go biking, however I havent really been able to find any good directions to good trails.

I can't think of the name right now, but I saw some trails at the park behind the Natural Science Center last time I was there. I don't know how good they are or anything like that...sorry.[Edited on May 9, 2006 at 1:19 AM. Reason : l]

There are mountains in Greensboro now?

^dont be a smartass. If you wanna talk about mountains, ride with me in Pisgah. That place will kick your ass, guaranteed. And i camped there for a week in November (COLD AS SHIT...below freezing) and rode everyday. I'm just looking for somewhere decent to ride in gboro while im stuck at home.

Just got back from riding Owls Roost Trail...kickass. I rode Owls roost and then added part of the Big Loop Trail..nice ride covering close to 10 miles.

^^^^It's Hagan Stone Park, right down the road from me. Most of their stuff is paved, but what isn't is pretty nice for riding from what I've heard. (I forgot all about that one having trails, and I'm going running there tomorrow! )

yeah, hagan stone park is a bit farther from my house than i'd like to drive. But I've ran there at least 60 times (highschool cross country). Not exactly the kind of trail i'd want to mountainbike on though. Not nearly as technical as the singletrack around.
