some guy on lingo was talking about how he had like 4 days played accumulated on his game of madden (maybe it was 40, but im pretty sure it was only 4). i think it was supposed to be astonishing cuz he had no job. i wasnt impressed.

i scoffed at such a pitiful number.

I played NCAA 2004 for several years in the dynasty, got a QB that had 99 in passing stats, and 99 speed as well, and broke every single passing and rushing record in the NCAA, while winning the heisman all 4 years

I finally acquired the Invincibility cheat in Goldeneye. It was around 11pm at night, and I was so excited I called up one of my friends to brag. But I forgot to take into consideration that he and his folks were asleep. Needless to say, he wasn't real happy with me the next day.

I spent 20 hours straight trying to beat Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts and always died when I got him down to the last hp bar.

Now I have to try again.

I think he meant Star Road.

My nerdliest victory was in Xenosaga fighting this weird robot girl. The game is turnbased combat similar to Final Fantasy and similarly you get three characters in combat. This was the first time you run into her and he is supposed to stomp your face and after an hour and 20 minutes of nonstop fighting I finally won. There was a roar of golfclaps from the peanut gallery also known as TennisAngel.

I too have done this. And actually, I've done this twice with Perfect Dark and three times with Goldeneye (I beat them both once and got all the cheats, and every now and again I'd get bored and start a new file).

How the hell can you even get an accuracy greater than 100%? You have to get that cheat on Double-0 Agent, and there's no weapon for that level on that difficulty setting that can penetrate through enemies (there's an RC-P90 on Agent, though). And even then, I don't think you're allowed an accuracy rating of greater than 100%.

I beat contra a few times, and got past the part in Mario Bros on Level 8 (or is it 9) where you have to do a really long jump to like one little brick then stop.

In Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic and Knuckles I can get all the Chaos Emeralds in the first zone of each game.

Oh, and in the original Mega Man, I once beat all of the Robot Masters without using any special weapons.

On Tony Hawk Pro Skater, I scored 95,000 points on a single trick. Not a combo of tricks, but a single trick.

1080 (or maybe it was a 900) Christ Air over the huge street gap at the begin of the San Francisco level.

It was sick.

World of Warcraft: I got so good at dueling with a stunning shadow priest, that I would lag my opponent into getting disconnected from the server. Consequently, I named my new priest on Gorefiend, Disconnect.

I also won the Raleigh Regional Counterstrike Championship at Triangle Gaming Zone in 2001, under the name XxKillAxX.

On world 3-3 on Super Mario Bros for the NES where it's night-time, you have to run and jump off of the unbalanced steel support things to get the flag, I managed to jump completely OVER the flag. Unfortunately, there was nothing noteworthy past the flag. I just ran and ran until time ran out, then I died. The scenery was just Koopa's castle wall extending into forever.

I was pretty damned good at Rainbow Road on Super Mario Kart, though I forget my times. I'm thinking around 18 seconds per lap, using Donkey Kong or Bowser ('cause they're the fastest )

I picked up a final fantasy game my boyfriend had been working on for a few weeks, and beat the final boss in one sitting, just messing around. It was a fluke, the boss didn't throw any of his really horrible spells, but was still really cool.
