4^ yeah, sports talk. This was during gameplay in an intercollegiate league. Get over it if you got a problem.Anyways, point of thread is:damn, that guy got hops!

You'd think Colorado coulda used him on the basketball team.

dude definitely has ups

Who would have guess the tallest guy on the field would be awesome at ultimate?
5/5/2006 10:40:57 AM
^^^that guys is probably only about 6'in basketball, 6' guys that can jump like that are dime a dozen. the only thing that makes this interesting is that he did it during a game[Edited on May 5, 2006 at 10:57 AM. Reason : and the kid he jumped over is prob only 5'8" or so]
5/5/2006 10:56:25 AM
that was pretty cool
5/5/2006 11:00:03 AM
dude looks at least 6'3". and we're talking ultimate here. not to many white dudes playing ultimate have those kind of hops. I, on the other hand, am 6'2" and could easily dunk two handed in high school and even most of college. I could probably still throw down a hard one hander now

On college level, alot of guys do have hops... It isnt the inter-rec league here, this is a whole different ballgame. The problem is college level play isnt showcased at all, so the ultimate most people are familiar with is fatties/hippies getting shitfaced and throwing a disc, which is not comparable. The guy who got jumped over is officially listed as 5'10" (from their website, however accurate that is). The guy who jumped is disgustingly athletic, he is on colorado's track team, and does their high jump as well. so, yeah, this guy has hops. Just pretty cool to see em in a game.

Official heights are always at least two inches taller than reality.
