I had trouble trusting a 2 gig CF card for $70 (Kingston, though), wouldn't SD be more expensive/gig? Thus... less trustworthy at lower prices?

Make sure your camera supports up to a 4gb. Many will only support 2gb, the limit of Fat16.

^^ah, thanks for the links^hm, good point - its a nikon d50, i hadn't heard about size limitations.however, that being said, i think i may only be getting an additional 2GB soon.thanks!-ZiP!-

^good choice, the d50 will not support 4gb. It will read and be able to use the card, but will not be able to use memory past 2gb.
