I just voted, and was person #44 (out of about 1000 in the precinct) to vote. I wonder if we'll make it to 100.

The only election that seems to matter is a little bit west of you. And I think everyone knows how that will turn out due to the racial hysteria over there.
5/2/2006 2:54:17 PM
yea, the results from durham's election could probably dual as a demographics census
5/2/2006 3:02:56 PM
^^^#45 at my precinct, and that was at 1:30pm-ish
5/2/2006 5:05:55 PM

Waluigi, do you mean Vernon Robinson in the 13th Congressional district (which covers part of Winston-Salem and RDU)? If so, he's in the GOP primary today.[Edited on May 2, 2006 at 8:01 PM. Reason : add]
5/2/2006 7:59:00 PM
^i think he's talking about the congressional candidate, who would be on the ballot today if he had a primary oppbut i don't think he doespsi was #122 when i went at about sicks o clock
5/2/2006 7:59:39 PM
vernon robinson is pretty messed up - i had the misfortune of reading his positions

Locally, Avila ousted Rick Eddins in the 40th NC House race (no Democrat ran since Eddins was already running as a RINO).
5/2/2006 8:59:31 PM
where I live, you have to be a registered democrat because there are usually no republican candidates. our sheriff, some board of education seats, some county commisioner seats, state house, and a few other races will be settled today. most people are very conservative, but things still follow the old party lines.
5/2/2006 9:03:02 PM
Voting was today?
5/2/2006 10:25:59 PM
Couldn't make it.
5/2/2006 11:42:12 PM
^^^where i'm fromif you're "unafilliated" (dumbest shit ever) you can pick a party to vote with in the primariesi figured that was statewide...
5/3/2006 12:06:31 AM
A few interesting results: both Morgan and Eddins are out in the House; Nifong remains DA in Durham
5/3/2006 12:57:36 AM
Richard Morgan defeated.. interesting. What about Black? I was surprised to see Nifong win by so little. I thought his strongest competition would come from Ms. Black, but still I expected him to win by 60 some percent at least.

I voted at 5:50 pm, and was #87 for my polling place We need more people to vote!
