I got in an accident the other week and It was my fault. I have a $135 ticket and the officer said I could get a letter from the insurance company for something and the court would drop my ticket fine. I just dont know what the hell the dude was talking about.anyone know what the deal is and what I should do?

ask your insurance company for a court letter saying that they covered all the damagesthat's what i did for a wreck i had about a year ago and the receptionist dropped my ticket on the spot before i had to go before the court

yeah. i've done that before-- your insurance company will know what you need to show the clerk of court. the points for the accident will be added to your insurance, but you won't have any points on your license because of the wreck. you may not see any change in your insurance rate until 6mo. from now (or whenever they update your policy)... usually it isn't an instantaneous change.

^^ you got in an accident that was reported, and it was your fault. only in fairyland will your insurance not skyrocket when you renew your policy

you can still ask your friend to get the letter of liability from his insurance company and address it you and bring it to court.
