He committed to NC State rated as a 1* recruit and today was taken #22 overall by San Francisco. Bench Reps: 23Vertical Jump: 39 1/2Broad Jump: 10'4"20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.213-Cone Drill: 6.90Everyone was caught up in his physical feats but his Wonderlic score is PHENOMINAL. Let me out it this way. No quarterback in draft history has had a Wonderlic score recorded that is higher than what Manny Lawson scored. Jason Maas of Oregon got a 43 in 1999 and there had been a rumor that Ryan Fitzpatrick of Harvard scored a 50 (but he actually got a 38 in 9 minutes. still insane). As one person on PP exclaimed: this has got to be the highest score by a defensive player ever.Great interview from 2004.http://gopack.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/071604aab.html
