A provocative drama about a 32-year-old man who takes home a 14-year-old girl he meets on the Internet--with surprising consequences.

So this isn't a capital-g Good movie. It's gotten more good reviews than bad, but nothing phenomenal.

Still, this is a badass movie.

A thirtysomething photographer seduces a young teenager over the internet and they meet up for coffee in real life. About fifteen minutes into the film, SHIT GETS REAL. This movie is fucking GUTTER. It kind of kicks ass.

There are definitely moments that are funny, some inadvertantly so, but this movie keeps things tense--incredibly tense--from start to finish. Kind of reminds me of Coffy, that is if Pam Grier were a fourteen year old girl. The girl, by the way, is playing Shadowkat in X3.

Anyways, if you're a fan of thrillers (or molestation), I would recommend this. Playing now at Galaxy Cinema, showtimes at 1:30, 4:05, 7:10, and 9:25. Bring a date!

great flick. and I agree with those that say it is fucked up. very twisted.

our friends still give us grief for making them watch this movie, but they have pretty bad taste in movies. i personally enjoyed it... not sure how much re-watch potential it has though.

Wow... finally saw it and fucking loved it. I thought Ellen Page gave a miraculous performance. I liked how she mixed in equal parts psychopath, stereotypical "teeny bopper", and feminazi to make her role come to life.
