yep Keith Magnuson is correct.

which ref was the first to "drop" the puck? see back in the beginning of hockey, the refs would actually place the puck on the ice. well this would result in getting cuts and hacks to the hand. he was quoted as saying something to the sort of, "i just decided to drop it and let them go at it."

bonus question: Which years was Lord Stanley present to present the Stanley Cup to the winners of the famous trophy, and what where the names of the teams?
