lolI doubt you'll get MS to forward your email to a @gmail acct for free.It would be slightly humorous though.

I know of no way to forward email sent to your hotmail account to your gmail account. There may be a way to pay for the option but I've never seen it, nor heard about how to do it.(thx to google, see this app: http://www.e-eeasy.com/GetMail.aspx)But here's my solution for importing your existing hotmail into gmail... (not sure if it works but should)1/ Open up Outlook Express and create a new account (setup with hotmail http server)2/ Create a new local folder in Outlook Express3/ Download/Copy all your email to your local folder4/ Export/Import email into Thunderbird5/ Use this app to forward all your existing email to Gmailhttp://www.marklyon.org/gmail/[Edited on April 25, 2006 at 11:31 PM. That's a pain in the ass, if he wants to keep getting new emails @gmail, and not just archive his old ones. But yeah, it might be your only option.

1) Setup your email client to receive hotmail and gmail (I know Outlook Express and Outlook 2003 can do this).2) Setup a rule in your email client to automatically forward to gmail (if thats what you REALLY want) or move the message to your gmail account folder.3) Profit

Wait....I must be confused here.I thought hotmail wouldn't let you use pop3 unless you paid.
