and I have interviews, work, tons of stuff to finish up for graduation, a pending trip to DC and lots of other stuff going on this week and I don't want to get sick......Anyone ever tried Airborne??? Does it work and how much is it?I am taking Vit. C and trying to avoid close contact but I can't risk getting sick. Any tips would be helpful.

Washing your hands regularly and disinfecting all surfaces that are "common areas" helps.

Thanks. I have been trying to keep my hands out of my mouth---terrible habit. I've already been exposed so I'm crossing fingers at this point..

From what I've heard from friends airborne works but it isnt going to be 100% effective nothing is. You might as well try it, its not going to hurt you and its usually around $5 or $6.

Drink a gallon of water a day ... in addition to flushing our your system, you'll be in the bathroom a LOT of times and can wash your hands every time you are in there.

With me I've cleaned everything, carried antibacterial gel in my purse and had some sitting on the desk (of course this won't help if its a virus). Try to stay away as much as you can and wash your hands constantly (touch the microwave, door knob, phone, counter-wash em). study a lot in the library if possible and take your vitamins!

I don't get sick.

airborne works if you take it BEFORE you have any symptomsso if youre already feeling kinda sick youre fucked, so don't even bother buying it

^I'm not feeling sick yet...just tired. And my roommate is a female and she THINKS she has strep. She is going to the health clinic tomorrow. Thanks Michael. I wasn't going to address the lame attempt at correcting my "incorrect" use of 's so I'm glad you took care of that for me.

Vitamin C is good only if you don't have enough in your system already. You'll know if you start pissing very strong smelling pee lol.

problem is you may have already contracted the sickness:http://www.aboutkidshealth.ca/Article.asp?articleID=2094wash your hands a lot, open up the windows to prevent circulating the same disease ridden air, use lysol or airborne or whatever. spray the phone, doorknobs, counters, etc.[Edited on April 26, 2006 at 9:46 AM.
