http://www.nike.com/nikevision/maxsight/NIK0106028_NMS_FTP_Insert_1v1.pdfThere were a couple threads a while back about if these work and if they're worth it. I stumbled upon this today so I'm gonna have to give them a try. Again, it's the Nike Maxsight Sports Tinted Contacts.Just looking out [Edited on April 25, 2006 at 8:55 PM. Reason : /]

someone do this and tell me if it works

I feel like I would develop a raging headache at some point while wearing them and have to see normal light. I cant wear sunglasses for an extended period of time without taking them off periodically. Sounds good in theory, but I dont like it. I guess it wouldnt be that big of a deal if you dont need corrective contact lenses, cause it wouldnt be that big of a deal to take them out.

BTTTSomeone tell if they work or not. Calling MOODY!The idea is good if they do not hurt or cause headaches like ^ mentioned.

I saw an article about this in Golf Digest where they are developing a contact that will help you find you ball because it diminishes the effect of green and enhances the white of the ball. Or something to that matter. Looked like a big damn waste of money to me.

they had a huge article last year about brian roberts from the orioles using them. He said they helped him track the ball a lot better in the lights....so supposedly they do the job

I'm getting my set in 2 weeks they have amber for sports that require keeping you're eye on the ball (football, tennis, basketball, etc..)and then green/grey for sports in sunlight that require more of glare reduction (golf, running, maybe volleyball) -but they do not replace sunglasses (my dr. said)I think amber would be more useful, but the green look more badass...

^ who'd you go see? I know some docs wont prescribe them.

Got mine today and used them when we played basketball.I got a sample of the amber colored ones and they grey/green.I wore the amber ones (designated for basketball, baseball, tennis, etc...) And I don't really believe they helped me "track" the ball better, but since it was overcast weather they filtered out all of the grey/blue light and everything was really bright like a sunny day. I really like them and they look pretty badass.I have yet to try the green ones which are for golf, running, etc when sunlight can be a problem. They are supposed to reduce glare. I'll prob wear them for volleyball too... They may not be very necessary, but they look sweet in my opinion.

so pretty much its another expensive fashion statement

it was 65 bucks for 6 pairs... that isn't too bad.I still doubt I will actually buy them, I'll stretch out my samples for as long as possible[Edited on May 11, 2006 at 3:50 AM. Reason : but yeah basically something to spend money on so you can show it off]
