Ok, so I have this Thermodynamics problem on a practice test, and I thought I solved it correctly with my tutor, but the key says other wise.
The problem is:
Chromium was plated on a bumper by the following half reaction. If 300,000 C of charge were passed, how many grams of chromium were deposited?
Cr3+(aq) + 3e– ? Cr(s) E° = –0.41 V

And the solution listed is:
(300,000 C)(mole e-/96,500 C)(1 mole Cr(s)/3 mole e-)(52 g/mol) = 53.9 g

However, I cannot figure out how the answer is 53.9 for the life of me. I tried it with my calculator and I get....not that number. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

300000*52/96500/3 = 53.9
