the arctic monkeys can and should lick my taint.
4/20/2006 3:48:25 PM
I don't know if this has happened already, but I'm gonna go ahead and predict that the NME has either already called the Arctic Monkeys the greatest band in the world or will do so within a year.Because they fucking SUCK.But there IS a show in Charlotte I want to go to next week (or something). But I'm not taking off work and driving out there, most likely.[Edited on April 20, 2006 at 3:51 PM. Reason : ]

4/20/2006 3:52:07 PM
double overrated header heavenp.s. you know that Kanye line "Hater niggas marry hater bitches and have hater kids"?HE WROTE THAT ABOUT ME.p.p.s. I'm not even hating on the Monkeys, though, even though I don't really like them. I'm hating on the press for overhyping such a ridiculously mediocre band.[Edited on April 20, 2006 at 3:54 PM. "I hate a band because other people like them, even if they are good."gg
4/20/2006 3:55:40 PM
That's totally what I said. Because that's totally who I am.
4/20/2006 3:56:24 PM

I do believe I agree with the above two posts.
4/20/2006 4:30:36 PM
i do believe that i do not read NME and never have
4/20/2006 4:32:27 PM
The thing is... The Tabernacle is like the size of Disco Rodeo I think. And it has The Cotton Club under it, which is also dope. I saw Muse there in '04.
4/20/2006 10:37:56 PM
If you like Arctic Monkeys, fine. Personally, I think they sound like a bad Buzzcocks cover band, but that's just me.The last show listed, however, is pure crap.
4/21/2006 12:56:44 AM
i do not like arctic monkeys, they sound like a cover band of more than just the buzzcocks, but im sure it all starts with the buzzcocks, if that makes any sense[Edited on April 21, 2006 at 1:09 AM. Reason : fghghccvcghhg]

I saw Primus at the Tabernacle when I was living just outside of Atlanta a couple years ago. Awesome experience.I personally like the tabernacle more than the disco rodeo.
4/21/2006 2:14:31 AM
I like being anally fisted more than the Disco Rodeo. It doesn't take a whole lot to outdo them.
4/21/2006 2:18:19 AM
ratna, the roots and common are playing in charlotte at amos' southend and it's pretty cheap... you should go
4/21/2006 2:19:56 AM
All radhar posts boil down to essentially the same thing."I listen to trendy indie music. Please give me attention."
4/21/2006 2:22:34 AM
I was just using the Disco Rodeo for size comparison.
4/21/2006 7:24:30 AM
Oooh, The Roots!
4/21/2006 8:27:57 AM
I don't think the arctic monkeys are horrible, but they're definitely not as good as they've been hyped up to be. I don't think anyone could live up to that hype, though. that said, they're fairly decent I suppose.
4/21/2006 8:52:51 AM
I'll be seeing The Roots at the Tabernacle
4/21/2006 12:40:26 PM
4/21/2006 3:13:53 PM
