4/20/2006 1:06:37 PM
yea seriously better be something more to it then this. probably wont buy this version ill just keep my old one.
4/20/2006 1:38:44 PM
fuck thati'd buy it if they just put the ncaa 06 disc in a new box
4/20/2006 1:40:32 PM
If only they had a feature where you could build on to your stadium and maybe control booster money/merchandise sales......kinda similar to Owner mode in Madden. And have the ability to hire/fire assistant coaches, hold pep rallies, build new facilities (weightroom, indoor practice), extend the career mode to 50 years, hold out for more contract money, etc...
4/20/2006 1:43:31 PM
the shit where you create a player, choose a major, and can be suspended a game for academics if you fail the test is kinda cool, hahahother than that, NCAA 06 was the best football game, period...so this one could just be ncaa 06 wit a new coat of polish and it'll sell a million
4/20/2006 2:14:32 PM
Is this fucking football or the Sims?
4/20/2006 2:26:12 PM
BMOC does seem a bit lofty and would be great to go about changing facility, i.e. wight rooms, stadium increases, indoor facilities...but what are some the big things in college football for a player...Class grades (supposedly), GF's (some BF's-that would change alot in the game ), Being hyped up on campus, test, exams etc...I think it will actually be neat, and the harder the major the more -the tougher the test - but more points to increase player attributes...still have option to take rocks for jocks (I actually took that class-pretty fuckin simple). They should incorporate pep rallys and things of that nature...and use it to increase abilities and momentum, practice behaviors...Can't wait to play...I have not played a game since Christmas with law school, but betta believe I am going insane when this comes out. III
4/20/2006 3:36:30 PM
360 version looks nice, kinda sucks they left out some stuff like trick plays, bigger playbooks, etc.
4/20/2006 4:08:14 PM
I will be buying this anyway.I have bought this game every year since 1999.
4/20/2006 5:09:53 PM

7/18/2006 1:45:15 AM

7/18/2006 1:47:36 AM

7/18/2006 1:49:28 AM
god dammit Crompton, you suck
7/18/2006 2:01:24 AM
I've been saying this for a couple of years. Give the option of stadium expansion/relocation in dYNASTY mode. (kind of like owner mode in madden) Combine the Coach dynasty mode with some stuff from Madden 06 owner mode and career player's mode.As NCAA coach, you can get paid and ask for raises, own a home where your trophy display can be. The better the football gig, the phatter the house. They can also have media conferences with the coach and you can choose what to say before and after certain games (rivalry/bowl games) in order to stir up controversy or just stay classy
7/18/2006 3:10:28 PM
anyone getting the rosters for PS2? would be willing to contribute...
7/18/2006 7:06:21 PM

7/18/2006 7:22:53 PM
I am going to go ahead and order it from the company I usually do... if anyone wants them let me know... $5-$10, somewhere around there.
7/18/2006 7:34:14 PM
does the regular xbox version of the game look good. i still trying to save for a 360 but if the xbox version is good i'll get it. its hard not having the new game since i've been getting them every year for the past 4.

7/24/2006 7:33:43 PM
can someone comment more about the playbook differences? i read the XBox 360 thread and they were talking about how the texas I-form playbook (zone-read offense) would be a lot different than the USC I-form plays (west coast), etcdid that carry over to the PS2 version too? i really like 06 and am thinking of waiting on buying 07 for a while, unless there's something really spectacular about 07
7/25/2006 10:44:00 AM
I've only been playing as State thus far, but the biggest difference for me is that in '06 I could run over anyone, with any team, any time. In '07 the computer tackles a lot better and will catch you off a spin move or juke a lot more, but I can throw over any defense constantly, and my recievers almost never drop the ball. Other than that, the game offers a few more animations and more extensive playbooks. I don't know about the whole I-Form for Texas vs I-form for USC.
7/25/2006 11:38:41 AM
^^^ how is it for the PS2? i want it, but all i've heard is people suckin the xbox360's nuts and nothin about the game for ps2.
7/25/2006 12:56:42 PM
My two cents post was for the PS2, fwiw.
7/25/2006 1:04:56 PM
^^^ I basically agree with everything you said. 2006 was easy to run over anyone and the spin move was nasty, in 2007, running is a lot harder (still not real hard, but definitely more difficult than in 06), but passing is much easier. I've gone from running the ball 70% of the time in 06 to passing it 70% of the time in 07.
7/25/2006 1:13:42 PM
^thats good to know. in 06, i'll get like 200 yds rushing in a game, and only 130 passing or something, just because the run is so effective.they seem to oscillate yearly between making the defense weak on run or pass. I think 05 was pass happy too
7/25/2006 1:55:59 PM
anyone else want the PS2 rosters? if I can sell a few more I break even haha
7/26/2006 7:36:56 PM
get them from ^ yesterday. Definitely makes the game more enjoyable.
7/26/2006 7:40:22 PM
