i need to transfer ~6gb from my computer to my roommate's computer, and then back to mine

what is the fastest way to do this(we are on a wireless network if that matters)?

i've tried AIM, but it was going pretty slow for some reason

Use a program like WinRAR to break up the files into smaller compressed files and then transfer between the two computers using a floppy.
