Think I can count on getting into a English class that is limited to 30 students if I am #2 on the waitlist? It's ENG 224, and I wanted to e-mail the prof and try to talk to him/her but there's not one listed yet

If for Fall, yes. If for Summer 2, probably. If for Summer 1, maybe, but good chance. Just hold your horses for now. Should be okay

They may not have waitlists on them in an effort to make sure other sections fill. If you continue to have problems getting a lab section by July, let me know and I can give you someone to contact.

most labs do not have waitlists for the exact reason wolfeee mentioned. departments want all labs to fill instead of 3 popular time labs filling and having people on the waitlists.
