So I've got to find another class to fill my schedule with.

so far I've got bio 181, py 211, and ch 223. I need an easy class to boost my gpa, but I'm having the worst time finding a decent one. I need an art credit, history, or philosophy.

Anyone have any suggestions on classes / professor recommendations?

do you have bio with beckmann? i had him for 181 and 183 and he is awesome and easy, but still a good teacher.

Hmm any english class? Psych 200 was really easy....I think a lot of the philosophy classes are also grouped with religion - maybe you can take one of them? Good luck with art - I wanted to take it as a free elective, but it's hard as a bitch to get in if you're not in the design school and classes is like 2 times a week for 3 hours each or something like that. Plus, you can't take any art classes until you've taken that one intro class, it's like ADN 211 or something.

If you're going for a gpa booster then an intro class might be good for ya like intro to phi which is offered alot, or hi 207 - intro to ancient history (egypt, greeks, romans) w/ parker is also a good class. When I had it with parker I believe it was only 2 tests and a final so its not too much work if he still teaches it that way, and its an interesting class.

Any philosophy class with Jesseph would be good. Especially ancient philosophy, but that might only be offered in the spring. Ancient Mythology is also a really fun class that can fulfill an arts & letters req, but its another spring only. Any philosophy class with the title “history of philosophy of the ______ period,” other than the one I already mentioned, would be an interesting class but also a challenging class.

Can you let us know your major. I don't think I would suggest doing three lab classes at the same time. GC 120 is a good class, but time consuming and if you are going to keep three lab classes then I would not do it. I can come up with some others, but email us or pm your major.

I'm guessing he has to be a BLS major.

Easy GPA booster = CSC 200, BO 213

BO 213 is currently closed, but if you talk to Dr. Beckmann he may open a seat up for you.

Ya, I'm chem. Appreciate the advice..but now I've got another problem.

I got a C in calc 1 even though I had it in high school because I got some russian grad student tool for a professor and got screwed. It looks like I'm going to get a B- or a C in econ this semester and was wondering the benefits of just failing it and retaking it next spring again.

They said that the grade isn't dropped from your transcript, it's just not counted in with you gpa after you retake it..

Suggestions?

I chose GN 301.

My schedule is kind of whacked out because of my irregular lab times, but other than that, no class until 6 pm on tuesdays..and then just an 1:15 223. the 9-12 classes m w f are going to be a bitch though.

Preciate the insight.

Nah his name was Ivan Andjelovik. I'd be surprised if he knew this site existed.
