These bands didn't necessarily fall off completely, but their first albums are their best IMO:Gang of FourAIRLiz PhairB-52sElasticaMC5 (I think "Back in the USA" should count because "MC5" is a live album, but meh...it's all downhill after that)Sex Pistols (BWAHAHAHA)Starlight Mints
4/13/2006 4:29:49 AM
4/13/2006 7:55:11 AM
And after their first album this band made me ashamed for ever liking them to begin with:And who could forget these guys:
4/13/2006 8:23:55 AM
Although I'll have to say his two records following this one were pretty damn good in my eyes. And I'll still buy his CD's when he's 90 years old and rapping about knocking a dude's dentures out.
4/13/2006 8:33:58 AM
I saw suicide machines with fugazi back in the day. now THAT was a fun show. and I second helmet. that was a great album. Betty was less than stellar. and I also second third eye blind. I usually hate that kind of radio rock, but that was a pretty killer album.I'll add the stone roses to the list even though their second album is pretty decent. NOTHING compares to that first album though.
4/13/2006 9:03:20 AM
Blind Melon
4/13/2006 9:28:52 AM
Bush[Edited on April 13, 2006 at 9:31 AM. Reason : at least I enjoyed 16stone...the rest were meh]

4/13/2006 4:38:23 PM
4/13/2006 4:45:54 PM
I considered putting the Breeders, since "Pod" is by far the best, but I don't think the others are bad albums. Meh.
4/13/2006 5:03:25 PM
how in the world is the Use Your Illusion series "falling off"?
4/13/2006 8:23:09 PM
most bands "fall off" after a great debut album just because its hard to top thatbut some dont fall off nearly as bad as others
4/13/2006 8:24:41 PM
