...just wanted to note that I really like this car.Had one come into the Roadshop the other day and really enjoyed playing around with it. That, and the guy bought 4gs worth of shit to put in there which made it that much better.Anyway, really cool stuff. Fun looking truck - very retro. Sorta looks like a liberty/h3 combo, but more old school.http://www.toyota.com/fj - base price of like 21k. Not too shabby.

am I the only one that sees a honda element with balls?
4/11/2006 12:35:09 PM
^ Haha, come on man, you gotta give it more credit than that. Plus, they've got TRD on their side...which btw sells some decent accessories for this thing. Mike

i like emi dont like the pricetag they carry
4/11/2006 2:05:00 PM
30k for a fully loaded / offroad capable vehicle sounds reasonable to me
4/11/2006 2:06:46 PM
^ & ^^, yeah, the price actually seemed fairly reasonable.
4/11/2006 2:23:18 PM
my bad, i saw it on autotrader for like 86k and was like fuck that30k isnt bad at all
4/11/2006 3:11:14 PM
I'm absolutely digging this thing. I kind of like the push button rear locker. I'd really like to see the power numbers up around the x-terra OR-V6, but they certainly aren't bad. 9.6 in of GC isn't anything to be ashamed of out of the box either. I'll be looking for a used super base model in a few years I'm sure.

im just waiting for one to roll into work. ill probably get it then
4/11/2006 11:07:11 PM
yeah, it ran the rubicon, but this isn't exactly offroad capable. Guess it appeals to the right "its never going offroad, but it could if I wanted to" crowd[Edited on April 12, 2006 at 1:24 AM. Reason : ..]

4/12/2006 4:30:20 PM

Fj cruiser= nasty. Toyota is really stepping up in my book.
4/13/2006 11:54:27 AM
Fucking Toyota Drivers.Seriously, though, back to the point - I really like this truck.
4/13/2006 12:00:24 PM
all pro is talking about doing a SAS kit for it. might be interesting to see.
4/16/2006 2:48:54 AM
I liked this until someone directed my attention to the blatant Honda Element similarities. Now I can't look at it without going
4/16/2006 3:02:19 AM
Just as long as you can actually crush nature under tire with it, it's good (unlike some other, womanly SUVs)
4/16/2006 3:10:32 AM
seen one in cary yesterday, same color, lookin good
4/16/2006 2:22:36 PM
its got three windshield wipers, its the new hotness. I saw a dealership in detroit with a couple of FJ's on the lot, but didn't have time to stop and check them out. There's a waiting list to buy them sight unseen here in atlanta.
