The Beardagwmobile a 35th Ann. Ed. Mustang GT last night at the Wal-mart in Sylva... for the first time in my career I'd actually left the running lights on.We went to see my "little" cousin play a red/white game... The Beardawgmobile was so pwnt that the locks wouldn't click neither would the ignition...I said "don't worry girls I'll push it off... that failed several times... It was just so dead.. and some ole redneck with a monster truck tried it. But it was SO dead. I'v'e never even seen a car that them and I both pulled out the cables, but his were heavier, so we used them. The moral of the story is to park downhill Greg and I got by for tow weeks doing that bit it's harp for 1 pers to do an 8-cylinder engine...[Edited on April 9, 2006 at 12:23 AM. Basically some retarded shit about trying to roll-start a Mamastank with a really dead battery.Rule of thumb is that if the damn lights don't even glow, then it's way too dead to start in such a manner. Hell, the ECM needs at least 9 to 10 volts to even fire the injectors, and the fuel pump has to provide adequate pressure as well.Sounds like there wasn't even enough juice to fire the coil.

here's an idea. you were in a wal-mart parking lot. walk in Wal-mart and buy a battery.

BUT...you have to have enough battery to power the ECM, the fuel pump, and the ignition coil(s). If not, you're pissing into the wind trying to bump'er off that way. You'd just as soon try it with a car that's outta gas or one with no sparkplugs.

with a carburetor and mech. fuel pump, it can be pretty dead, but not with all the electric stuff

Better yet, I had a fellow redneck jump me ( I hade cables) but there's nothing wrong with it, the boys aboove were right... the battery was too dead in a newer car to "roll"
