Okay, I must sell this elliptical by mid May. My new place does not have enough space for it. Im dropping the asking price to $1000. Thats $500 off what I paid for this just one year ago! You cant beat that deal for this kind of machine anywhere! So come on buyers... if not you, then your parents, relatives, etc.

It does look like a nice machine. The problem is that you do not seem to be aware of the depreciation on these. If you go to Play-it-Again sports, used equipment goes for about half of what new equipment does.(I only bring that store up because they are a good reference for what used equipment sells for.)Yes, that includes machines a year old. Yes, that includes nicer model machines. And to make matters worse, you are trying to get a higher than normal price here at TWW.We all know this is the place to get a LOWER than normal price. Try Craigslist. You might get more there. If you stay firm anywhere near your current price though, you might want to start looking for a spot for this in your new place.

Fitness products depreciate 20% every time it is resold, so my price is reasonable even on TWW. I did some research before selling, and mostly assemble out-of-the-box (like from sears and walmart) are sold at Play-it-again. Furthermore, I went to Play-it-again, and they offered $550 for my machine, which will then be marked up 120%-200%. So I think i have a good ball park; and besides this is my asking price (meaning im willing to negociate)Source: http://www.fitnessmanagement.com/FM/tmpl/genPage.asp?p=/information/articles/library/equipment/equipment0505.html

mssarder....Hey, I am not trying to argue with you.And I am not sure where you got your information on how things depreciate.I did used to work in the field however and I was only trying to help you out.Like I said...it does look like a nice machine and I wish you luck on selling it.
