ok i just upgraded some ram, cleaned out the inside with a can of sprayi also disabled some programs in the startup confignow it starts up to windows and runs for about 30 secsand then does a memory dumpive swiched out the ram and it still does it,any ideas

Being able to read the blue screen would help.Right click on My Computer, select Properties and then the Advanced tab. Click on Settings under 'Startup and Recovery' and then uncheck 'Automatically restart'.Hopefully you can do this quick enough - this will allow you to see what module or process is causing the crash instead of it just rebooting.

oh yeah i did that and i got the error0x00000004,0x00000001,0xe363f7a0,0x006b0020i forgot where on the net to get the info, it gets nothing on googlethis is my landlord's computer so id really appreciate some infothe funny thing is if i leave it on the login screen then it just stays there, but if i log in it stays on for about 30 seconds, ive tried disabling all startup programs, [Edited on April 7, 2006 at 4:23 PM. i would say related to the rami had installed some faulty ram and had all types of issues with random reboots. make sure you didn't exceed your allowable ram for the mobo and that the type of ram is compatible with your mobowell i saw you switched out the ram, so ignore this[Edited on April 7, 2006 at 5:23 PM. yep, ive take out all the new ram and it still does it,im trying a few things, diagnostic start up, disable all startup...

i copied new startup files from the windows/repair folderas it says in this site http://www.digitalwebcast.com/articles/viewarticle.jsp?id=8658-1so far its working
