I got my jury duty call for Chapel Hill, thing is I don't live there and have resided in Raleigh for 3 years now...Rents still live in Raleigh.

Any ideas to get excused b/c I am not a resident?

you'll probably just have to fax over a paycheck or something with your raleigh address
just call and ask

for durham it took me all of 10 minutes to get straight

same thing happened to me for a Greensboro jury, but all I had to do was go to the DMV, get a new license with my Raleigh address on it, copy it, send it in with the paper that came with the notice. A couple weeks ago my parents got a letter saying I was excused. Cost me $10 though.

It's not like you can't easily get from Raleigh to Chapel Hill.

Call the clerk of the court or whoever.

They wanted me in Nash County for Jury Duty and all I had to do was explain that while that was technically my permanant residence, i was in college in Raleigh.
