So immediately after hearing about this i had to know the real story so i talked to some Uconn sources.

Apparentally this song is huge on UCONN campus.

They made tee-shirts and shit...


and everyone plays it at their parties...

I think Easy Ed is trying to play it off as a joke now, but im pretty sure it wasnt intended to be at first cause he never laughs or anything.

Anyway the basketball team thinks its hilarious when they hear it and apparentally theres a walk-on who also made a song.

Former ACC rookie of the year Ed Nelson has opted to give professional football a try.

The 6-foot-6, 265-pound Nelson, who played sparingly in two seasons at UConn after transferring from Georgia Tech after his sophomore season, will hold a workout on April 21 for NFL scouts at the Storrs campus.

"I am excited about exploring the option of competing in the NFL," Nelson said in a statement. "I feel that the hard work and work ethic that I showed during my college basketball career will help me to be ready for this opportunity. I have gotten great feedback in the last week that I am an individual that NFL teams could and will be very interested in."

Nelson hasn't competed in football since his freshman year of high school.
