I am interested in taking Nutrition 301 for fun. If it involves a lot of work or is really hard, then I don't want to take. Does anyone know anything about it?

I'm sure its true, but it still sounds funny that a diary in a nutrition class could be an object of concern to someone who is worried about a class that could be "a lot of work or is really hard."

i took it for fun my senior year. if you have a scrap of common sense, or can at least read, or have taken a nutrition class before, then it's pretty simple. there are a BUNCH of freshmen in there who don't take the class, or anything, seriously...then are surprised when they fail a test.

seriously, it's a good class if pay attention.

Before Dr. Ash started teaching it it was a Mickey Mouse course but I wouldn't call it a lot of work or unreasonably difficult. When I took the class the biggest challenge for my classmates was remembering to turn in the four(?) assignments in on time.

The tests require you to synthesize (rather than regurgitate) what you're supposed to be learning and that'll trip you up if you're one of those flashcard people.
