Laura replies, "Well, it's the Kitty Kelly book and Dan Rather this week..." Nancy Weiss, a Bush family intimate, told Kessler, "She torments herself by reading the WASHINGTON POST and the NEW YORK TIMES, " and added, "A Texas Monthly article (based on a book by a Washington Post reporter ) said she is a 'bad mom.' Oh I agree. The lengths to which Drudge goes to find negative information voiced by popular figures over Hilary Clinton is beyond stupid at best. It won't be long before we're hearing about how she even wears white after Labor Day, still makes Lil'John "Yayah" calls at people, owns 2 slap bracelets, and used to wear suit-jackets with shoulder pads in them.

I can't imagine what he'll do if the the '08 presidency comes down to Clinton vs. McCain. He hates them both.

This is so silly. Laura Bush is silly. Drudge reporting her silliness is silly. I wonder if little things like this have any real impact on elections though. ?

And slap bracelets are the best.

the White House should be kept in good repair, of course, but if I were President, I wouldn't request that money be spent on something unless I really found it to be really offensive to taste.

if something was slightly dated in terms of style, or if the carpet didn't look brand new, then so be it.

Hillary doesn't strike me as much of a decorator, how do we know she didn't just leave in the decorations from Barbara Bush's stay in the White House (not knocking Barb, but it was the 80's, so the decorations HAD to be gaudy)
