I was wondering if anyone was trying ot sell or knew anyone who might be seeling a Toyota MR2 Turbo winthin the next few months. I'm in the process of fixing my old Probe GT to sell to a friend and then I'm going to sell my '87 300zx to another friend. From tha tmoney and some I have saved up, I want to by a new car. And I've always wanted a MR2, particularly the 93 and above model. So any help would be appreciated.

Get a later year one if you can, the earlier year sw20s had a worse suspension that had some bad snap oversteer in hard cornering conditions so a later year is more desirable. Watch out for head gasket problems on the turbos also.ANd btw the MR spyders look like gay retarted pikachus.

I've always loved the looks of those mid-90's MR2s. Don't know anything about them though. Why not trade up from a Z31 to a Z32?

I really wanted one before I got my s14. Insurance is killer on them though.

I belive teh 93s are when they fixed that, but yeah a 94-95 would be best because they are newer and they have the better taillights.

Dude... look who you're talking to? I know the 1991's are going to be lower than that because they're a dime a dozen, and 50% of the time it's a 3SFE with a 3SGTE swap into it. The OP said he wanted a 93-95 which are extremely rare and hard to find with a low mileage, much less being a turbo model.

i can't imagine paying over 15k for a '93-'95 MR2 Turbo. I mean, they're cool and all, but that's ridiculous.

^3SFE is a 2L motor. The first gen cars all had the 4AGE engine.

i paid about $6250 for my '91 turbo, had a rebuilt turbo but everything else was stock, runs fine (now..)

$15000 yeah right, for that much you might as well by a used S2000 or something. Usually a good one runs anywhere from $4000-$8000. I've only seen them higher than that if they have been heavily modded. ANyway, thanks to the dude who mentioned this to his friend at UNC. WE talked some and it might work out to where i'll buy his car during the summer.

I have had a 91 MR2 turbo for a little over a year now and I've tracked it about 6 times now and anyone who says pre 93's have "snap oversteer" is a deuche who just lifts mid turn and blames the spin on the car.

Fuck, just toe the rear wheels in a cockhair.
