So I know I am not in awesome shape on the bike, above average for the casual biker but probably below average for the typical enthusiast I pass out there. Well, my German colleague on this $100 WalMart special, wearing blue jeans and loafers kinda owned me on the hills today. The first decent one we pedaled beside each other up it, but the next 4 that are over on the Ebeneezer side he would get out ahead of me no problem. At the end of the ride he was like "Oh, your shirt is wet in the back."Of course, he bikes everywhere so I guess when I think about it that way, to stay up with him for the most part probably isn't too bad.I had to come home and run a couple miles to make up for my 'poor' showing.
