What's it like?Similar to In Reverie?Found these clips:http://www.vagrant.com/std_moneen/soundtree.htmlSounds like more of a Stay What You Are vibe.[Edited on March 30, 2006 at 2:03 AM. Reason : ]

it's a nice blend of all their stuff in my opinion. the singing is similar to in reverie, but better. "sound the alarm" and "say you'll never leave" are my two favorite songs.
3/30/2006 2:59:40 AM
btttI had completely forgotten this was coming out.
3/30/2006 10:00:02 AM
In reverie was complete shit.Through being cool and stay what you are were money.I hope this is nothing like In reverie
3/30/2006 10:20:48 AM
Actually, I think In Reverie is my favorite album of theirs now. It took a long time for it to grow on me, but once it did it surpassed all the rest.
3/30/2006 10:27:15 AM
^i agree with thati think all of you who didn't like in reverie will like this one though. this is a really good album
3/30/2006 10:37:23 AM
dude. Stay What You Are is the best.
3/30/2006 10:41:45 AM
that was my favorite before i started listening to in reverie more.the bottom line though is that the new cd is the shit.
3/30/2006 10:47:27 AM
Like I said, it took me awhile...but once I managed to adjust to the tone of the vocals, the album was amazing. There's much more to it than the others. But yeah, the general consensus seems to be that this is more like their older albums.

3/30/2006 11:16:59 AM
okkeep looking in the meantime though, i won't be able to do it until late tonight.
3/30/2006 11:17:33 AM
i thought Stay What You Are was nowhere near as good as Through Being CoolBut it wasn't too bad
3/30/2006 11:52:19 AM
they were both good, but i liked stay what you are better.this is not an exit was probably my favorite song off that one
3/30/2006 11:55:36 AM
does it sound like those 2 cds or more like in reverie?
3/30/2006 12:15:58 PM
it's more of a blend really. some songs sound more like in reverie, others more like stay what you are or through being cool. "the exit" even reminded me of can't slow down a little.i really like the album, and i think that people will like it whether they liked in reverie or not. and while it's a blend of a lot of their stuff, it's also unlike anything they've done before at the same time. there's pretty sweet guitar riffs in some of the songs.
3/30/2006 12:39:37 PM
3/30/2006 1:34:40 PM
oh thank god they made more good music
3/30/2006 1:39:43 PM
The hallmark of a shitty band is when you can't tell the band name from the album name from the song name.
3/30/2006 1:50:07 PM
well so far you're the only one with that trouble. maybe you're just an idiot.
3/30/2006 2:04:33 PM
I was in Myrtle Beach last saturday night and was this close to going and seeing them at HoB, man I wish I had.
3/30/2006 3:15:51 PM
ive seen them live back when tix didnt cost that much and they are ridiculously good live.....tix are too much now though
3/30/2006 5:39:18 PM
HoB was only $14, I should've gone
3/30/2006 6:19:55 PM
ahh thats not as bad as I thought it was gonna be. I payed 10 to see StD, Dashboard, The anniversary and hot rod circuit. Damn good show for the price.Fuck HoB/ticketmaster for all those damn fees they add on.

^ sweetness, thanks!yeah I saw these guys w/ Taking Back Sunday @ HoB a few years back when TBS was only playing stuff from "Tell All Your Friends".fabulous show.BUT, the greatest Saves The Day show EVER was them opening for Weezer at the "ESA Center" back in like 2002. Holy balls
3/31/2006 11:22:55 AM
yeah i really doubt that was their best show ever. they really did not fit in playing in an arena
3/31/2006 11:27:57 AM
^ my statement should have certainly been taken in the context "of the shows I have seen them at"
3/31/2006 11:32:30 AM
^^^your nuts. that show was horrible. i was gonna post about how much they sucked at that show before i even got to your post
3/31/2006 11:47:15 AM
i liked the ESA show - the best show i've seen of STD was at ziggy's a few years ago
3/31/2006 11:48:54 AM
how can you say someone's personal opinions are wrong? if he thought it was the best shot to HIM, then how can you argue that? study sociology and psychology jewbags haha
3/31/2006 12:02:03 PM
he didnt present it as his opinion, he flat out said, "he greatest Saves The Day show EVER was them opening for Weezer at the "ESA Center" back in like 2002". that looks more like fact than opinion to me
3/31/2006 12:13:57 PM
^ I followed it with "holy balls"That negated any type of seriousness any fool would ever get from what was written before it.
3/31/2006 12:22:56 PM
the "holy balls" came after a period, not a comma, so it didnt really negate anything. you basically just started a new sentence with "holy balls", an incomplete one at that
3/31/2006 12:29:39 PM
well this thread has gone to shitwhat do you guys think of the cd?
3/31/2006 12:30:36 PM
SAVES THE DAY SHOW AT THE ESA WAS THE GREATEST SHOW SAVES THE DAY EVER PLAYED. does anyone really give a fuck? i guess some people do, thats why thats the wolfweb.
3/31/2006 12:42:28 PM
just listened through it, I like it a lot better than In Reverie.honestly I couldn't listen to In Reverie beyond "Anyone But You", so this is a great surprise...but they're just as whiny as ever! [Edited on March 31, 2006 at 4:47 PM. Reason : .]
