I was really considering taking ECE 435 because it seemed like it would be interesting. Why did it suck so bad?
3/28/2006 11:06:25 PM
ece435 is not even close to interesting[Edited on March 28, 2006 at 11:12 PM. Reason : brickley is almost as bad as walsh]

What is the most interesting 400 lvl ECE class?
3/28/2006 11:25:38 PM
Controls (435) is a good class to have but brickley is the only one that teaches it. Brickley is really just a bad Teacher. Also his tests, lectures, and hw's are all uncorrelated.ece402 (communications) is my favorite so far with hughes. I like 420 (wireless comm) with alexander too. I recommend taking classes on your interests.[Edited on March 28, 2006 at 11:29 PM. Reason : ]

So far, (I haven't had 301 or 302 yet) I am leaning toward analog. I am currently signed up for 435 in the fall and I was also considering taking digital controls, robotics, and mechatronics in the future. I am not particularly interested in communications but it appears as if that class (402) is highly regarded. What kind of stuff do you learn in 402?

okay, so that 212 test definitely tried to kick my ass...
3/28/2006 11:55:52 PM
212 was the easiest fo sho, cept for 407 with a teacher so easy i dont even remember her damn name cuz i went to class that little (she was nice as hell though...)the 492s are really interesting. if you dont mind doing the work 492V (lasers) with kolbas has been my favorite class at state. It was hard, but damn interesting, and kolbas kicks ass...oh, if you want to actually learn how to do something, take 492r (again, with bob...) probably learned more about electronics in this one semester than the past 4 yrs combined. actually doing the shit makes you get it, screw all the math you'll never need.[Edited on March 29, 2006 at 12:57 AM. Reason : 492r kicks ass too]
