Anyone know of a semi-easy/good STS class?

How are STS 302, STS 322 (Tech Catastrophies) and 323 (World Population and Food)?

i'm in sts 322

its online

so far out of a possible about 400 points, i've gotten 385

the total for the class is around 650, i'm also not a good writer, so the fact that i get 100's on everything(got an 85 on the midterm) says a lot

honestly i'd take it because not only is it unchallenging as far as course load, its also interesting subject matter

a win/win situation if you ask me, not many courses fufill both of those requirements

i appreciate it. i'd really prefer to take it online too. i'm a PRT major so i just need this class to fulfill one of my requirements or whatever...

thanks for the insight.

i've heard the tech catastrophies class is fairly easy and really interesting. the only complaints that i've heard are from engineering/science majors who get aggrevated when they have to stop the class to explain to someone without a technical background things like why you wouldn't construct a building out of graphite (actually happened in that class this semester).

302, 304 I have taken and they were really good
322 I will be taking and have heard is very good as well
There is also a Distance Ed STS class on Peace & War in the Nuclear Age if you like policy issues

I took 302, it was pretty cool. Classes were mostly discussion, there was a bit of reading but nothing bad. Tests were essays and short answer. I liked the discussion format, it was a nice change from my engineering classes.

Yeah I'm in sts 322 online right now....390/400 pts!

1 assignment a week, a REALLY interesting book to read (although the book is pretty damn expensive....id highly recommend you buy it online)

overall really interesting class, really easy on the assignments, overall fun....one of the best classes i've had at state

I took STS 302 last fall and it was an easy A (light reading, discussion, quick and easy writing assignments). Last name started with a K I think.

STS 301 with Graham. He is a very interesting old man with long hair, and he's a Dead fan (need I say more?). Lectures are interesting if you have any curiosity about religion / philosophy. There are 3 papers. Only bad thing is the papers are long ones.

OMg 323 is the easiest class EVER!!!! It should actually be an intro class. Bob Patterson is the teacher, super nice guy and gives out 95% A's. Seriously, the only way to get a B is to skip a test. Trust me, its a "rocks for jocks" kind of class; mine was at least 25% sorostitutes, which was pleasant on the eye, and if they could get an A, I'm sure you can as well!
