Heres the school tool reviews of him. It'll give you some ideas about how he grades and maybe list some names of people you might want to private message with more questions if you don't get a satisfactory level of response in this thread.http://www.thewolfweb.com/school_instructor.aspx?department=ENG&instructor=2500I had Young for 390. The material really interested me, and Young knows his stuff, but he is also a very tough grader. I think my paper was a comparison between Shakespeare’s Tempest with all its storm lost at sea stuff, and the Aeneid/Odyssey which are both ancient works full of storm lost at sea stuff. Of course its alot more complex than that, but that was enough of a connection to get me started on the paper. It’s a class that I'm really glad I took, but I really should have taken it for credit only based on the effort per grade reward ratio.

thanks buddy. but what did you get on the paper?

Hmm. I had him and loved him because he was so knowledgeable. However, the TA graded the vast majority of our papers. So, if your TA grades yours you're good to go, however, if you're one of the randoms plucked to be graded by him...you might get screwed.

I've missed a few classes here and there. But he gave us suggested topics for Eng 487 and 390. We are supposed to meet with him to discuss our topics.
