Yes, you read that right. This is a complete operational NeXT Cube system, including original NeXT monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Everything works, and the system promptly boots into NeXTstep 2.1.Included:NeXT Cube Model N1000, Part 23.00 (Early revsion, 2000-range serial number!) 25mhz 68030 Processor 8MB RAM N3001 Maxtor 380 XT-8380s 330mb NeXTcube Hard DriveN4000A NeXT MegaPixel 17" Monitor.Original NeXT non-ADB Mouse and KeyboardConsidering its age its in great physical condition, and looks gorgeous. There are no chips or dents in the magnesium alloy casing, and the system is clean and well maintained. For those who don't know what a NeXT Cube is, its arguably one of the most sought-after and difficult to find peices "vintage" computer hardware. The first webserver ever was a NeXT cube (owned by Tim Berners-Lee). John Carmack created Wolfenstein 3D and Doom on one. NeXTstep (the OS made to run on them) was used heavily when designing Mac OS X. If you mention that you own a NeXT cube to any hardware geek (and they actually belive you), you will instantly assume the status of l33t in their eyes. These are collectors items and frequently sell for ridiculous prices on eBay/etc.Pictures:Asking $1,200 for everything[Edited on March 23, 2006 at 9:25 PM. Reason : .]

yea definitely put that bad boy on ebay and spread the link as far and wide as possible. If it makes a gadget blog or a prominant computer hardware news page, you'll get bank for it.
