I didn't realize there was a movie. I've always thought that Terry Gilliam should direct an adaptation of it. It's probably been at least 10 years since I've read the book, but I believe it was one of if not my favorite book when I was younger. At my elementary school, you could give the library a book and they would put a sticker inside the cover that said donated by whoever in memory or honor of whoever, and I remember when I "graduated" I donated that one. Oddly enough, I was thinking about this book the other day for some reason, and decided I wanted to read it again. The NCSU library didn't even have it in their system, though.

I finally read that book on a whim in middle school. Before then, I only heard it mentioned in passing.

I liked the food from the math kingdom, dividing dumplings and subtraction soup.
