MASK was underappreciated for sure. i cant remember if EEK! the cat was 80s or early 90s, but it falls into the same category as well. 3/22/2006 4:25:11 PM

I liked the old sci-fi western cartoons that never made it. Like Brave Star and Saber Rider and tHE Star Sheriffs. I found basically nothing on Brave Star, but did find this for Saber Rider:

Also, I found Saber Rider FanFic, which is just a little frightening. 3/24/2006 4:36:53 PM

The Toxic Crusaders
![](http://www.internationalhero.co.uk/t/toxicrus.jpg)
technically, the cartoon came out in 1991, but "the toxic avenger" movie came out in '85.
apparently, they're still making them. toxic avenger IV came out in 2000. 3/24/2006 11:54:42 PM

I thought this thread was about 80s cartoons that didn't get much play. I remember MASK, Punky Brewster, Jayce, Centurions, etc. being fairly widespread.
Here's a few for you:
Meatballs and Spaghetti Munchichis Pandamonium Gilligan's Planet
I'm not sure how old you have to be and how desperate you had to be to watch the dregs of cartoons as a kid to remember those. Cartoons done for the day when the Soul Train came out. 5/2/2006 6:14:55 PM
