My DVD collection has overgrown its current location and I'm looking to find some sort of multimedia storage cabinet/rack that doesn't look like crap - any suggestions? My estimate is that I currently have about 150 DVDs/video games that I want to store in/on whatever I wind up buying, so it'll have to have room to grow. I'd prefer real wood - I'm not the biggest fan of particle board, but I suppose it may work in a last resort. I have no problem with spending some extra $$ on something that is of higher quality.I've seen the selection at local electronic stores and haven't been all that impressed - most (if not all) of them have been particle board that I could just see being thrown out in a couple of years.

I store my DVDs in a 5.5TB RAID 3 array. Not really, but I wish I did.

I would spend some money and get an entertainment shelf. Basically a bookcase with shelves that are spaced specifically for dvd's and cd cases.I made the mistake of getting those shitty dvd towers from best buy and my collection quickly outgrew the spaces available.
