my carolina jasmine has been attacked by i don't know what...i think it's aphids but i'm not even 100% on the signs of insect pests to a garden. basically, some leaves have these little spots on them that look dead, and some leaves have been eaten (but not many...most have these little spots). that's aphids correct? or something else? i can take a picture of them if that will help...thanks!!!

it also looks like the pests have come and gonethat's an idea...i'm looking up info on them now.not that much of the leaves have been eaten. primarily it's the "dead spots" on the leaves and only a few of the leaf edge have been eaten. it's probably a jap beetle, but not many to do serious damage. i've sprayed my leaves to resist further damage and it's still alive b/c it's growing new leaves and the vine is spreading...i just hope i can save the rest of it and not have to cut it all back [Edited on March 19, 2006 at 5:56 PM.
