I heard this yesterday on 850 the buzz as I was driving home...

This year was the 53rd ACC tournament, of the 53 years, 3 times the ACC could not play in the NCAA tournament because of violations ( it was a long time ago)... that leaves 50 ACC tournaments champions with Duke being the 50th this year... Of the 49 previous champions, 24 went to the Final four in the NCAA and statistic that is truely amazing...

So if Duke reaches this year the ACC will be an amazing 50%, 25 out of 50...

no that stat only counts when our tournament champion reaches the final four... i could probably find how many teams from the acc have gotten to it, but its probably [old] so ill let dbag handle it

lol yeah sorry about that meant to say something like amazing? anyway i found this site and since 1950 i counted somewhere around 39 acc teams in the final four...

oh and i guess the ACC is now 24 out of 50... so only 48% of our conference champions have made it to the final four...
