Has anyone ever seen the #13-16 seeds be so competitive as they are this year? Almost every game has either come down to a final few plays, or the lower seed was winning at halftime, or it was a great game all the way through. At the end of the games, most of the teams favored won (not all) but I have never seen underdogs give the lower seeds such a scare.DAMN THIS IS GONNA BE A GREAT MARCH!

I must say it seemed like almost every game you weren't too sure at time who would pull it out.

you'll have to give credit to very few upsets in conference tournaments [/espn.com]

this also goes back to when everyone was bitching and complaining at the tourney committee with so many MVC teams and one less ACC teams. Looks like they knew what they were doing to me.

ACC is 4-0 though. MVC 2-2.Hmmmmm. Just saying.

This year was a down year for many power conference teams. A lot of the traditional powers are really young.

^^^was just looking at that too...from my count only 3 of the mid-major at large teams won in the first round....course I am not counting A-10 (GW) as mid major...dunno if others do. I am so tired of the mid-majors getting hyped up all year just to suck it up in the first 2 days.[Edited on March 18, 2006 at 12:31 AM. Reason : ^]
