Dell Direct had some laptop deals earlier this week that were priced around 500 bucks. Then again, that has 1GB of memory, so 650 isn't a bad deal as long as the warrenty is transferable. 1 yr warrenty is a bit lousy from dell in the first place, what can you expect from a cheap laptop. you get what you paid for.

I don't think I would define this as a cheap laptop quality wise, its far better quality than many others out there. if you're saying this is the emachines of laptops then you're dead wrong.

the warranty is 100% transferrable via an online dell.com form.

You ebayers are dumb asses. You DO NOT get a warranty online unless the place is an AUTHORIZED INTERNET RETAILER! There will be a list on the website(i.e. Dell) and if the company isn't on there, then there is no warranty!
