anyone have any comments on the alumni trip to europe for seniors? are you going? know anyone who is going or has gone in the past?

any (related) advice/feedback is greatly appreciated!!!

personally, i would not want to go on some structured tour with no real flexibility.

i'd much rather be able to go where i want and be able to wander around at my own pace. that said, i'm going to europe on my own this summer after i graduate (backpacking for 43 days). i'm pretty sure that by planning a trip on my own, it'd be somewhat cheaper, per day, than a package tour. admittedly, though, hostels aren't quite tourist class hotels...

good point...it's nice to be able to do your own thing...but if you really have no idea what's going on, where to go, how to get there, etc., the scheduled stuff doesn't seem so bad...

what do you mean by "Boosters?"
