I call bullshit, did they actually see it giving birth? It's totally plausible that some rodent mom just abandoned it and the cat mom happened to find it.

^ Same here, I'd like evidence....However, it's not completely impossible. There are some very *odd* cat deformities out there, albeit rare and most of the odder ones dont live...But there are some kittens that were called squirrel/kitten hybrids or "Squittens", when it's a variant of the polydactyl gene that has another protien fuck up that causes the front legs to be too short. The cats simply adapted.
