This is probably old, but this guy was a trusted aide to President Bush, went to UNC undergrad, then Duke Law.

Resigned in Feb. of this year, then arrested in March for "felony theft scheme" in which he would fraudlulantly return goods to Target and places like that for cash (refund fraud)

I love how the huffington post first tries to make republicans seem racist by calling allens bosses "white superiors" and then continues to theorize that the only reason that allen wanted to commit theft was to "feel black."


How could that not offend black people? Basically the author, who was evidently approved by Arianna herself, is stating that this guy freaked out from being a successful attorney(which is considered to be a "hyper white trait") and so went on a crime spree to feel black.

Way to be culturally sensitive Democratic Party!
