Cat's body temperatures and human body temperatures differ...cat's temps are normally higher than ours. Therefore, the germs cannot thrive openly in both environments...so, you're probably safe.

no, youre good. doctors say its better for children to play with their dog's toys than with other kid's toys because they don't share the same diseases. im sure the same goes for cats.

Yes, animals can be carriers of a human virus or bacteria but not be infected themselves. It goes the other way too. By in large, there are not really any communicable illnesses to worry about.
